Chocolate Pot de Creme
When entering the large sunny space, you quickly get the sense that Tartine Manufactory is one of those places always bustling with activity. Bakers are busy baking, diners are decidedly dining, and I was there to satisfy my sweet tooth. The Chocolate Pot de Creme was quickly spied in the case. It comes in the cutest pocket-sized jar just enough to satisfy one or two people. Each mind-blowingly decadent spoonful was ultimately chocolatey & creamy, but with the perfect firmness of a superb pot de creme. I loved the tiny cacao nibs which introduced a wonderful crunchy texture juxtaposed with the creme that tipped the scales of this great dessert to one that truly amazed.
